             Jejuri city is the patron deity of entire Maharashtra. Devotees of Khanderaya come to this place throughout the year from all over the country, not just Maharashtra. Magh Poornima, Pausha Poornima, Champashashti, Navratri, Somvati Amavasya Such year-long Yatras are held at this place.In Jejuri of this same Khanderaya, the Waghya ( A servant of God ) Murli, Ghadshi, Gurav, Vani, Kumbhar, Parit, Barber, Blacksmith, Carpenter, Mahar, Matang, Chambhar, Sali, Koli, Mali, Such Barablutedar and Atharapgad ( all 18) community along with other community happily  used to serve Khandoba in Jejuri.         Chandukaka Jagtap, the fortunemaker of Purandar, established Shri Shivaji Shikshan Prasarak Mandal and started the first school in Kaldari in 1988 by establishing this organization for the purpose of educating rural students. But the local citizens of Jejuri requested Hon.Chandukaka Jagtap  to start a school at Jejuri. The far-sighted uncle also recognized the challenges of not only rural but also urban students in his taluka. In Jejuri, Barablutedar and Atharapgad caste people, a working class child should not only be literate but should be well-rounded (well-versed). They should be given proper educational facilities by spreading and promoting education in an effort to make them join the existing advanced life stream. Prioritize. the request of the local citizens that girls should get proper education specially, a girls’ school named Jijamata Girls High School was started at Jejuri on 13th July 1991 in Gramdaivat Janubai Temple in Jejuri with only 17 students. 

           While starting the school, the auspicious hand of Sadguru Narayan Maharaj Shri Kshetra Narayanpur and the founding president Hon. Chandukaka Jagtap presided over the inauguration ceremony. At the time the school was started, the educational environment in Jejuri and its surroundings was not conducive The Qulity of Education Less due to which they had no competion before Z.P.. and one other School.          The number of students in the school continued to grow and parents and local citizens expressed their desire to have a school for boys as well as for girls. In view of the increasing response, the school was renamed as Jijamata High School Jejuri after taking joint permission to make the school not only for girls. Due to the increasing response from the students as well as the increasing popularity due to the quality of the Vidyalaya, the Vidyalaya began to lose the space of the Janubai Temple. After the tireless efforts of Chandukaka Jagtap, the Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Holkar Trust was established in the area of Gautameshwar Mandir (Chhatrimandir). In 1994 The school was taken on the basis of annual rent Rs. 1200. Founder-Chairman Hon. Chandukaka Jagtap Hon. no Ajitdada Pawar laid the foundation stone of the building to be built on the site at Shubhahaste. This Bhoomipujan ceremony was attended by the then Mayor Hon. Dilipada Barbhai, Hon. Mayor Gyanobadada Darekar, Hon. Machhindraappa Bayas, Hon. Nand Kumar Niragude, Hon. Along with Rohidas Kumhar, Aji Ex-Corporator from Jejuri, Village Sanstha’s Special Board, Politicians from Purandar, Socio-Educational Society were present  Founder-Chairman Hon. The building work was taking shape under the guidance of Chandukaka Jagtap. Also, the quality of the school and the result graph of class 10 was also increasing. The students of the school have been leading in various external examinations, competitive examinations, cultural programs

The school started with just 17 students. Today the number of students in that school has increased to 246. 6 classrooms, office, staff room, library were constructed and the appearance of the school building changed.

School teacher Mr. Sagar N.P. He was promoted to the post of Principal in Vidyalaya on 15 June 1998. Shri Sagar Sir contributed to the progress of the school by providing donations for building construction and coordinating the quality of the school, parent communication. Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Trust is made a 99 Year agreement  by seeing the increasing graph of the progress of the Vidyalaya

 Seeing this, a 99-year agreement was made in the year 2005. The Vidyalaya not only has a Land contract, but on the occasion of Somvati Amavasya, Khanderaya’s palanquin comes to visit the Gautamashwar temple in the Vidyalaya premises.

At that time, the principal of the school Shri. Nandkumar Sagar Sir honors the Palkhi on behalf of Holkar Trust.

      Given the situation in Jejuri city and other rural areas in the vicinity, students had to struggle for admission to higher secondary schools. Keeping in mind the difficulty of the parents, Mr. Sagar Sir and Founder President Hon. Chandukaka Jagtap established the Higher Secondary School in Vidyalaya on 30 September 2002.

      And the school was renamed as Jijamata High School and Junior College Jejuri. The graph of the number of students in Vidyalaya continued to increase. In school etc. 5th to 10th Secondary etc. The number of students of 11th and 12th class including Arts stream was 1036.

     Along with the increasing number of students, the progress graph of other examinations in the school, aptitude, continued to rise. R.S.P. in Vidyalaya. Scout Guides, Flag Squad, Commando Squad, Cultural Department have contributed significantly to the progress of the school. It became the only institute in Purandar taluk to impart self defense training to students.

   Considering the increasing competition in the education sector and the increasing demand of students for other branches, considering the tradition of 100 percent result of the college, Commerce, Science, Backing Such branches were started in the college.In Vidyalaya, The number of students increased from 5th to 12th.As a result, the class rooms began to decrease. Founder-Chairman Hon. Chandukaka Jagtap, Engineer Prashant Nazrekar and Contractor Mr. Trusting Aba Kalane, he was entrusted with the additional work of building the Vidyalaya.

       Through local donors as well as Martad Devsansthan, Mr. Tak Sir received 250000 (Rupees Two Lakh Fifty Thousand) and 500000 (Rupees Five Lakhs) for Art Hall through Dev Sansthan. M.D. Colonel Mr. Prataprao Chavan of Bharat Forge Company donated 100000 (Rupees One Lakh). The play Sahi was staged at Balgandharva.In many ways supported the school through many channels for donation.

       Along with the building of the school, various activities in the school also started taking shape. Clean schools, action camps, educational calendars, nurseries, rain harvesting etc. along with many other activities in Vidyalaya under Harisaste lecture series. Prof. Shivajirao Bhosale, Shri.        The notes of all these are recorded in the notes book of Vidyalaya. Mr. Rajendra Jagtap Saheb, Special Advisor of the Institute, was an IAS in 1999. He also started efforts to provide e-learning facility tab in Vidyalaya with his creativity so that students from rural areas should survive the competition in many ways. And their efforts were successful.

       The result of SSC and HSC of the school is 100 percent, the school is leading in the external examination, along with the studies of the students in the school, Anandikaki Jagtap, the head of the institution, constantly strives for the health of the students and motivates them to complete them by giving frequent instructions whether it is sanitary napkin machine or health check-up of girls. .
