Shree Shivaji Shikshan Prasarak Saswad,an institution dedicated to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, was established by Chandukaka Jagtap , the founder president of the institution in the institution in the year 1988. As Purandar taluka is a remotem hilly rural area, the children of needy, farmers and laborers of this taluka should not be deprived of education. With the aim of making education facilities available for boys and girls in the rural areas, the school was established in the year 1994 in Jawalarjun.

Principal Thought
In the z.p.primary school room built and started in 13 jun 1994. For school 41 gunthe purchase by Kundlik dhondiba Rane and then Sir Chandukaka Jagtaps friend Mahadev Krushnaji Rane gave 45 gunthe for the school.
Construction of the new building started in the land given by Mr. Appasaheb Rane for 45 Gunthe school near the village. Entrepreneurs Mr. Madhavravaji Ghorpade and santh Sopankaka Director of the Bank Mr.Dhananjay Kakade and Founder President and Chandukaka Jagtap other dignitaries and villagers in the presence of 26 Bhumi Pujan.
In School there are 2 teachers and now 9 teachers and 3 peons.
School 10th result of march 1997 55.17% after all 10th regularly 8 years result is always 100% . Grants received since June 2000.
From july 2003 11th class and 12th class were started on permanent unaided basis. But due to the numbers of student both of classes were closed. In school 5th to 7th classes started at 1997.
