Background of Establishment of Jijamata Primary School

In the Pavna city of Khanderaya, the patron saint of AkhandMaharashtra. Hon’ble Founder President Mr. Chandukaka Jagtapbrought the Ganga of Education to Jejuri town in June 1991 through Jijamata High School to provide Education to the children of Tlagalati. While classes of 5th to 10th class were successfully started in Jijamata Madhyamik Vidyalaya, there was an exchange of ideas between the officials of the institution regarding starting an excellent and quality primary school of Marathi medium. Jijamata Vidyalayawas established with the aim that if the primary section is started, all the children will get education from 1st to 12th standard under one umbrella and the parents will also benefit from it. For this purpose, Muhurtamedha of Jijamata Vidyalaya was planted.

Establishing a new kindergarten

Jejuri is a village with a large population. There are sections like MIDC, Vidyanagar, Lavathaleshwar, Dhalewadi Road in Jejuri. An idea was exchanged that kindergartens should be started in that area so that the children there can go to school. That is why kindergartens were started in all areas of Jejuri.

Jijamata Primary School Raja Shiv Chhatrapati Balak Temple here, Navodaya Balak Temple at Old Jejuri, Jijamata BalakTemple at Dhalewadi Road Kindergartens like Samarth BalakMandir at Vidyanagar and Shiv Balak Mandir at Lavathaleshwar were established. Mr. Aruna Suresh, the manager of all these kindergartens, was looking after the work. Parent contact was increased by visiting all the kindergartens from time to time and discussing the obstacles of the parents. Parents meeting of all these Kindergartens were held every month.Also like Primary section examination and all records were kept. Parents were also satisfied as there was a kindergarten near home for their children. All those students used to attend Jijamata Primary School for a large group. Due to this, the number of students in the school started to increase In this, Ms. Darekar V.V, Ms. ShobhaGirme, Ms. Kalpana Kshirsagar, Ms. Rekha Chavan, Ms.Sujata Chavan, Mr. Sunita Shinde, Mr. Godse S.R. got valuable support.

kilbil Karandak

The concept of Kilbil karandak for children was implemented in the academic year 2004.05 from the concept of founder president Mr.Chandukaka Jagtap and manager Mr. Ravindrapant Jagtap sir. Jijamata Primary School, Gurukul Primary School and Sri ShivajiEnglish Medium School and all Kindergartens participated in this. In the first year, the competition was held at Jijamata Primary School, Jejuri. Jijamata Primary School won the first KilbilCup. In the second year Shree.Shivaji English Medium School Saswad was held here. That year the Gurukul Vidyalaya won the trophy. The competition instilled a new energy and interest in sports among the children of the taluk.

Classes in nearby Kindergarten Jijamata Vidyalaya

From the academic year 2007.08, Kindergartens in various parts of Jejuri started being run under the Primary Department. Jijamata complex has facilities for education from Kindergarten to Class 12. Parents are more willing to send their children to Jijamata Vidyalaya. Parents prefer to send their children to Jijamata Vidyalaya with the aim that the child will be admitted to the infant group and the worry of education will be removed till 12th. Therefore, kindergartens in the surrounding area were classified in Jijamata Vidyalaya. This also helped in increasing the number of students.

A distinction in Semi English Medium

Another different experiment was first implemented in Taluka from the concept of Mr. Sanjayji Jagtapsaheb MLA Purandar Haveli and started in 2009 in Semi English Medium School. The first Semi English medium school in Pune district is Jijamata Vidyalaya.

Hon'ble president and office bearers visit the school

Hon’ble President visits the school from time to time and inquires about the necessary matters of the students and gives instructions and guidance regarding the cleanliness of the surrounding area and school work.

Bhoomipujan of new classrooms

Due to lack of classrooms in the school, Bhumi Pujan of four classrooms was done in the academic year 2014.15 at the back of the temple. It was conducted in the presence of Principal Mr. Sagar Sir and Headmistress Mrs. Belsare Madam School teachers and Chairman of Management Committee Mr. Sachin Upadhyay, Pankaj Ghone.

Various toys were installed in the school

Necessary toys for the children were installed in the school. Also, other necessary toys were purchased. The enthusiasm and attendance of the students increased due to the toys. Due to various innovative initiatives, there was a huge response to increase the number of students. Various competitive examinations along with the new systems being implemented in the school have helped in increasing the parent contact.

Presented by highly skilled artists

To give scope to the talents of the students, the guidance and presentation of the talented artist was always taken in the school. Chi.Ozas and Chi.Shubham’s independent tabla playing program and film artist Rashmi Patil were invited to the school and their art was presented.
